Golf practices begin each year in late July/early August - any interested students in grades 7-11 at NCHS/NMS should contact Coach Scott McGarry (smcgarry@nelson.k12.va.us) in preparation for our next season in the fall of 2020.  NO EXPERIENCE needed to come out and give it a try.  Learn now - play for a lifetime.

Week of :

The 2019 season concluded at the Region 2C Tourn at The Homestead.  Giles County and Radford advance as teams to the state tournament with scores of 334 and 336.   The 3 individual players from other schools also advancing posted scores of 76,79,79.

All players are required to have a completed physical turned in prior to practicing.  Eligibility will be confirmed prior to anyone joining the team for the 2019 season.  

Extra clubs and equipment can be available to begin the season.  Please dress appropriately - collared short sleeve polo type shirts and khakis/nice shorts.

Additional information will be provided on site at practices.  There will be paperwork to take home and have signed by parents beginning next week.  The web site will be updated as we get into our routine.
